When you need advice, it comes!

When you need advice, it comes!

A large percentage of diseases are thought to be inherited, but is this true? I think we only inherit thought patterns, so we also inherit diseases. In the last few months I have started to look into diseases, how they come about, especially how cancer comes about. WHY DOES THIS PARTICULAR PERSON GET SICK? Doctors hear this phrase every day: WHY DID I GET SICK or I REALLY DON'T DESERVE IT. And it is in her book Cancer on the Soul that Dr. Nela Sršen, a physician, explains her view on these questions.

My grandmother also died of colon cancer, and today I know why. And I am happy to work every day on changing thought patterns to prevent the heredity of this disease. I am lucky that all this information has come to me at the right time. You too can prevent inheriting this disease. HOW?

My father always told me that periodontal disease runs in the family and that by the time I was 50 I would definitely be toothless. Well, he told me that when I was 40, and today, as I write this blog, I am 43. When he told me that, I started to think about it a lot. And a year later, before we went to the seaside, I said to myself:
What can I do to avoid losing my teeth so early?
AND LET GO OF THAT WORRY.

And so we arrived at the Croatian campsite Ulika near Poreč. We unhitched in the caravan and started enjoying our holiday. It wasn't long before I noticed that someone was brushing his teeth and reading a book every evening in the caravan next door. It was not clear to me what he was doing. Petra, I wouldn't be Petra if I hadn't stuck out my tongue on the second day and said:

BUT MAY I ASK WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

My friendly neighbour replied that she was brushing her teeth. Of course, it didn't stop there, and I immediately climbed up the hill and went to the neighbouring caravan to have a little chat. Claudia, who is now a friend of the family, was most happy to tell me her secret. That evening I just sat there and listened to her. She told me her story from the beginning until that day.
Well, Petra wouldn't be Petra if she hadn't taken the advice seriously and started a new habit of brushing her teeth herself, every evening and every morning for 20 minutes, WITHOUT TOOTH PASTE.

BUT SHE'S SERIOUS ABOUT NO TOOTHPASTE. I'M SURE I'LL HAVE TERRIBLE BREATH.

It wasn't easy to get used to, but deep down I knew that this was the answer to my request, my question: What can I do to avoid losing my teeth so early?
Yes, from that day until today and until I die, I will brush my teeth this way, because the proof is coming very soon. My teeth became really clean, smooth, the morning breath disappeared. Toothpaste accumulates in the pockets, which are very deep and common in periodontal disease. This toothpaste rots in the pockets and the pockets get bigger. The decay also causes morning breath, which nobody likes. Mechanical cleaning of the teeth with the softest bristles really does remove all the plaque.
Well, there was evidence, but I still wanted an expert opinion. Half a year after my new toothbrushing routine, I had my teeth checked regularly.

AND WHAT THE DENTIST SAID.

When I came in for my check-up, I didn't mention that I had a new way of brushing my teeth. After the check-up, the compliments were all over the place. HOW BEAUTIFUL YOUR TEETH ARE, EXCELLENT PETRA, KEEP IT UP. She only removed a little tartar, which I had to have cleaned every year. When I mentioned how I brush my teeth now, she was sceptical because I brush without toothpaste and added, ah no need to brush for 20 minutes, that's too much.

BUT STUBBORN PETRA CONTINUED

Despite the dentist's comment, I continued with the new technique. Since then, I have had two more annual check-ups. My teeth are WONDERFUL and I have not had any tartar cleaned for two years because there is NO MORE tartar.

WHAT IS THE LESSON OF MY EXPERIENCE

Diseases are not hereditary, habits of mind and stock-picking are. The beautiful thing is that it is never too late to change your mind. Dr Nela Sršen describes in interviews how people who have had liver transplants for cancer or other diseases have changed their minds and their way of life. Even before it was their turn for surgery, they went home with their livers, which their bodies had healed themselves, and it was the patients who healed their minds.

Our bodies are miraculous, we just need to listen to them and ask out loud for help.
You will ALWAYS meet the right people, get the best doctors, find invaluable advice, if you ONLY CHOOSE TO LIVE.
